Get ready for the August total solar eclipse with a class on solar photography. A presentation on various types of eclipses will demonstrate the kinds of photos that can be taken. This is an in-depth workshop about how to photograph the sun safely during all phases of an eclipse with a digital SLR or mirrorless camera. Stan will walk you through various techniques and camera settings necessary to get photos during the partial phases and the approximately two minutes and 30 seconds of totality. He’ll discuss how to plan shots using software and apps and what equipment works best. A brief tutorial will be presented on how best to process these images on a computer to produce the best photos from the eclipse.
