Thief steals camera in CHURCH & Sony could have stopped it
Last Friday, a thief walked into a church while the photographers were shooting a wedding, casually walked up to the photographer's bags stashed in the corner, and stole their Sony camera. This sort of theft happens every day and camera manufacturers have done NOTHING to discourage it. It's time camera manufacturers start including anti-theft technology in cameras to reduce crime and our insurance rates. Tony Northrup describes how some of these technologies could be implemented with free firmware updates.
